Colouration
Mutations that affect the colouration of Xunari.

All pigment on the body, with the optional exception of those markings with Ghosting, has been removed from a colonist. You can often see the skin colour through the fur, usually pink or grey but sometimes affected by Artifice or a diluted version of the base coat colour. These colonists usually have red or pink eyes.
Any ghosted markings must be no more than 50% opacity and should be diluted.
Chimaera colonists have two genomes paired together.
Chimaera cannot be added to existing colonists via items or research. It is only obtained via breeding.

All pigment on a colonist is darkened considerably, often almost to black. This mutation can present in three variations:
- The entire design is affected, darkening all markings, including white spotting and minimum white. White spotting remains the lightest color on the colonist.
- Only white spotting markings are affected, creating a "black spotting" effect; markings like appaloosa or roan must be black and darker than everything they cover. The base and all other markings remain normal.
- An "all of the above" effect, where the entire design is darkened and white spotting markings become black spotting.
This rare trait causes dark markings to "double up" upon one another, merging into significantly thicker forms. On markings like spots or stripes, this can cause these shapes to grow and even appear layered upon each other. On markings like saddle or blanket, it can increase the range.
