Armour Class
Armour Class, commonly referenced as AC, is based on a flat species score and affected by a combination of Constitution and Dexterity bonuses. It is also affected by equipped gear and armour.
AC is useful during dangerous activities (activities such as mining and scavenging that may result in injuries.) If a colonist fails a dangerous roll badly, a roll is made against their AC. If the roll is above their AC, the colonist will gain an Injury status effect, whereas if their AC is the same number as the roll or higher, they will simply lose some HP.
