Even in the tumultuous waters off the coast of Rekes, shipwrecks were rare. Most of the time they knew to steer clear of the sharp fingers of rock that erupted from the water, and more that hid beneath the surface, but this one had foundered and been blown on the rocks. The ship hadn't been able to withstand the storm winds and the sharp stone, and so had shattered and fallen into the depths. Thankfully, the drift had given the crew enough time to disembark, and so nobody had been hurt. ...
