Pelage
Mutations that affect the fur, skin, and feathers of Xunari.
Long fur appears upon the lower legs of a colonist, similar to the feathering of a shire horse. These do not add true feathers, only longer hair.
This is a thick ruff of fur around the neck of a colonist — not limited to the standard tsabhua mane area. Can alternatively cause a colonist's natural mane area, if applicable, to be up to tripled in length. Manes should always be affected by gravity and not stick straight up.
A mohawk quite similar to the mane on a tsabhua whelp creates long fur down the spine of the colonist. Should be affected by gravity and generally not stick straight up. Should not be any longer than three times the length of a natural tsabhua mane.
Large keratinous plates ranging up the throat and underside of a Xunari, these begin at the underside of the jaw and can trail down to midway down the tail. They should not pass underbelly ranges by any means and are generally sparse on the limbs, focusing on the front of the forelegs similar to medieval greaves. They are not one solid piece but instead numerous plates, to allow for movement and turning of the head. They can replace the underbelly mane on a tsabhua.
