Colonists with this mutation have from one to all of their feet replaced with bird feet. These are most likely to look like feet of ground-dwelling species like pheasants or emus.

Dense, knobbled skin can continue up the leg up until the armpit or knee at furthest or the whole bird feet can be furry, given a species and subspecies that allow that.
