THE DOOR OPENS EASILY

You step through, and the world around you shifts.

Around you is a lava tunnel.

The ground is cracked and uneven.

Obsidian walls rise up around you, the air thickening with ash and smoke.

Dormant once, but no longer.

The heat of the Inferno burning behind you, lapping at your heels.

You can feel the heat radiating from the walls.

You must move

or you will die

The path is winding

The walls are jagged

And the heat is rising

A cry, from the left

A figure, silhouetted in the distance, watches to make sure you have heard

Then they fly
