((The ocean was a place to be respected more than anything else. This was especially true off of the Rekes coast, as the continental shelf rose sharply from the depths to the shore, making the surf violent and unpredictable. Jagged outcrops of stone scattered the surf as well, some poking above the water, others only visible in the troughs of the waves.)) Sky soared out above it, watching the never-ending fight between the waves and the shore before diving into the calmer waters past ...
