Seymore had been the only one not suspicious of the genetic research Matter had been asked to do. Seymore had also been hesitant at first- but honestly, the reason he agreed was less lack of suspicion and more fondness. Matter had asked him, and Seymore had honestly just not had the heart to say no to her. The serpentine Xunari was seemingly excited about it, honestly, probably not really seeing the potential harm. Still, Matter had asked him with her pleading little eyes, and Seymore just couldn't say no to her after all the trouble she had gone trough for the colony.

Matter had been moving around the little clinic's room, grabbing stuff and readying equipment that Seymore didn't quite understand. He felt a bit intimidated by it all, never having been a fan of anything medical related anyways.

She eventually seemed done preparing, various tools and plastic bags with notes laying around. It ended up taking a few hours for Matter to collect everything she needed- mostly unintrusive things, although Seymore wasn't too pleased about her taking a tuft of fur from his mane.

Still, Matter seemed please, making happy noises at the computer as it processed the data she had given it. The loading bar seemed to take forever, crawling forward at a snail's pace. Seymore shuffled around awkwardly, eyeing the small cage with Matter's Huldah in the corner as they waited. "Did you give him a name yet?" Matter perked up at the mention of her small companions, nodding excitedly. She started pressing buttons, which appeared on another Screen. "Her name is Snowstorm."

Seymore nodded, looking around the small room. "Y'know, Bloo didn't give you guys much, but it's still nice to see you guys making the best of it." he looked over at Matter and her screens, a progress bar crawling over the screen. "Could use an expansion. Cramped." Said the other screen. Seymore nodded. "I think he's more open to it now anyways. It's been proven quite useful, really." Matter nodded, not bothering to show Seymore another message as she worked on processing more data. "He's been talking about it, actually." Matter perked up at that, clearly interested. "Since we have the food situation mostly sorted, he said he'd be more open to focusing on 'non-urgent' things. His words, not mine." Seymore knew that Matter didn't consider the medical centre to be 'non-urgent' and honestly didn't disagree with her, but that didn't make it any less hard to agree Bloo of the same.

"Ah, anyways." Seymore said, awkward under Matter's suddenly intense gaze. "If you wanted to bring expansions up with Bloo- well, now would probably be a good time." Matter nodded, smiling. The progress bar was still slowly filling up. Great, as much as Seymore liked chatting, *awkward* small talk was not one of his specialties.

"So, what is this actually gonna show us then?" Matter seemed to hesitate, a sign that she was about to dump way too much, way too complicated information on the other Xunari. She tapped around on her screen for a bit, eventually landing on a page that said "GENETIC INFO - 1064" Seymore hummed, looking at the screen "Oh? So that's you then?" Matter nodded. "Alright if I take a look?" Matter nodded again, before turning back to work on some files on her other screen. The notes seemed to mainly contain three sections; one marked "visible genes", another with "Mutations" and finally a set of notes called "Genome". Seymore still wasn't sure what he was looking at, the "visible genes" section saying "Point, Eyelet" despite Seymore knowing fully well Matter was fully white. The next section said "albino" which was not a term Seymore was familiar with, but the next two "floppy ears, curly fur" were pretty self-explanatory. The "Genome" section meant nothing to him, just a random set of data.

A ding from the computer indicated it being done processing Seymore's results, making Matter shoo him away from the computer she'd need. Seymore watched from behind her. His page didn't seem to have the "mutations" section, which wasn't odd since Seymore looked pretty much like any Xunari physique wise. The visible genes section had four thing, however, "Impala, Point, Choker, Banding" he frowned. Maybe those were like markings, then? He had to be honest- he didn't really care either way.

He cleared his throat to get Matter's attention. "Do you uh-" he paused a bit, trying to figure out the least rude way to say 'i'm bored and would love to leave' "Do you still need me? Bloo asked me to talk earlier today, and it could be important." Mission success, Matter briefly switched screens "No, thank you for the help." The screen flashed, and Seymore carefully made his way out of the room.
