Twinkle swam around the swamps of her home. She was looking for her friend, Finn. It had been a long time since they had seen each other, Twinkle having moved to her little cave a while ago.
She glided gracefully trough the submerged labyrinth of aquatic flora, quite used to swimming along the more watery regions of L'hatzif. Eventually, Twinkle spotted Finn gracefully navigating the underwater terrain, not too far away from her cave. The playful blue reef belemoid, with her agile movements, swirled around the aquatic plants with an infectious energy. As Twinkle approached excitedly, the two friends quickly exchanged excited greetings, before carrying on in their journey to Finn's home.
As Twinkle and Finn traversed the underwater terrain, they came across a peculiar arrangement of shells spelling out a mysterious message. Twinkle, with her curious nature, examined the shells.
"Finn, have you ever seen anything like this before?" Twinkle asked in awe, her hands gently reaching toward the shells.
Finn, more agile and playfull then Twinkle was, swirled around the shells, inspecting the odd arrangement. It seemed to stretch for ages; a long string of a "code" or something spelt out in shells. With a flick of her tail, she signaled to Twinkle that the message was indeed an anomaly in the underwater landscape.
Intrigued by the revelation, Twinkle and Finn swam around, following the trail in the hopes to uncover the secrets within the swamp's waters.
As the currents of the swamp carried them through tangled roots and submerged groves, Twinkle and Finn more and more oddly arranged shells The mysterious message seemingly stretching on for ages.
Twinkle, very carefully lifted each shell- each time dissapointed no further hints were etched on them. Finn, darted ahead, playfully swirling around the shells as if deciphering the aquatic code that lay before them was a matter of acrobatics.
As they ventured deeper into the swamps, the mysterious arrangement of shells led them to hidden caves adorned with softly glowing moss. The shells seemed to become jumbled, no longer spelling something out in a script the two whelps didn't quite grasp.
As they sat in the cave, it opening out of the water into a sort of bubble, with ledges for both Finn and Twinkle to sit on. Twinkle gently held on of the shells, turning it around as she looked at.
"Finn, do you think there's a deeper meaning to these shells? Maybe they were just left by someone messing around." Twinkle mused, her eyes reflecting the gentle glow of the cave's interior.
Finn shrugged "Maybe it's just a coincidence?" she picked up one of the shells, tossing it against the walls of the cave, shattering it instantly. She huffed.
Twinkle gently nudged herself closer to Finn, a mischievous smile on her face. "Maybe it sais uhhh" she paused, pretending to think about it "That you should move closer to me!"
Finn rolled her eyes, backing away from Twinkle a little "I don't really think it does, Twinkle." she sighed. Ever since Twinkle had moved away, she had been insisting that Finn follow her into moving closer to her. And so far, every time, Finn had declined. Politely at first, less politely later.
The blue Belemoid sighed. "I mean, it has been pretty lonely here lately." Twinkle squealed in excitement at those words "Ill go fetch your stuff! You can travel back with me!" and instantly dashed back into the swampy waters, leaving a stunned Finn behind trying to correct her mistake "Wait I didn't mean- aaaaand she's gone." Finn sighed deeply- guess there was really no stopping Twinkle when she already had her mind set on something.
