Bloo tapped his foot as he sat, waiting. The air was thick, with the soothing melody of rustling leaves and the distant hum of unseen creatures. The self-proclaimed leader of his small colony was waiting for two friends he had recently made, Fawn and Roam, and they had promised to go out with him next time he needed something.
After a while, the male finally heard footsteps behind him. He looked up, seeing the two tsabhua walking up to him. He ran up to the duo, giving them an excited greeting as he did. He then explained that he needed some simple supplies- food and some twigs for crafting, and off the group went.
Half-buried in the soft soil near their camp, a tattered leather-bound book lay forgotten. Fawn, the inquisitive tsabhua with a penchant for adventure, noticed it first.
"Look what I found, Fawn!" he exclaimed, nudging the book with his paw.
Fawn, her eyes narrowing in contemplation, picked up the tome. The cover, adorned with faded symbols, hinted at a history untold. Roam, always being more of a quiet observer, watched with keen interest as Fawn flipped through the delicate pages, revealing a tapestry of forgotten knowledge.
Fawn squinted at it "I can't make any sense of this. it seems like gibberish to me."
Fawn rolled her eyes "How useless..."
Bloo acknowledged their musings with a soft hum. In his experience, however, nothing was ever truely useless. "Perhaps some of the tribes know more about this." he looked at the book in Fawn's hands "Do you mind if I take that with me, Fawn?" he was quite interested in the little puzzles in life, and was thrilled at this message, left behind for them to decipher.
After walking for a bit longer, Bloo suddenly perked up. "I know someone who might know a little about this."
Intrigued, the duo of Tsabhuas decided to follow Bloo, who brought them to Twinkle. The two looked at eachother, confused. Like a whelp was going to have any knowledge of this. As they approached the small cave where Twinkle resided, they shrugged at eachother and let Bloo take the lead.
As soon as he showed Twinkle what they had foundit sparked a gleam of recognition in the younger companion's eyes. Noding she spoke "I found something like that a while ago. I uh-" she glanced around nervously "I gave it to Koi and Empress though."
Bloo huffed. He had already found out long ago that the whelps had dashed off somewhere without him knowing that day. He sat in the back of the cave for a bit, deep in thought untill he got up sighed "Well, I might better head home." he looked at his companions, Roam and Fawn mid-conversation with Twinkle as he left the cave. Looking back, he suggested "Maybe you three can get to know each other a bit? It's always nice having friends these days, you never know what might happen, after all." the four nodded at eachother as Bloo headed off into the distance.
as Bloo got home, he looked at the small robotic companion that he shared his home with. As he arrived, it came up to him, whirring with curiousity. As it noticed the book however, it reached it's little arms out, beeping insistently. "What?" Bloo said, startled "No, that's not for you, I was gonna give it to-" He couldn't quite finish his sentence, the book knocked out of his arms as the small "device" ran off with it. Blue blinked confusedly, he supposed Koi wasn't getting a gift today after all. Odd. Porcelain wouln't usually have done that.
