Bloo had been out all day, foraging with Porcelain on his back, when he stumbled upon the Hidden Glade, deep in the swamps. It was quite surprising, how relaxing the atmosphere felt, as he walked around. Bloo wasn't sure what to make of the softly glowing mushrooms around him, and Porcelain's sensors whirred quietly as it tried to make sense of the new environment.
He felt someone bump into him from behind- not realizing he had stopped dead in his tracks- an cursed at the tsabhua who had bumped into him by accident. "fawn! Watch where you're going!" he had met his new companion a while ago, Bloo, Fawn, and her slightly younger tsabhua friend (Roam, who was walking behind them) had gotten along surprisingly well, and had soon sneaked their way into being permanent residents of Bloo's little group.
Speaking of Roam, as she finally caught up, she gasped in amazement "Whoa! I'm not going to lie, Ive always thought this was fake, to be honest" Fawn squinted at her younger companion "What do you mean fake?" at which roam shrugged "I don't know, it's just always felt hard to believe."
Bloo looked around, eyeing the place suspiciously. He wasn't quite sure what to think in the odd environment, and couldn't quite figure out why he had such a strong feeling of being watched. He didn't like said feeling one bit.
As Bloo continued on, the feeling stayed persistent. Bloo had already insisted Roam walk between him and Fawn, wanting to make sure the youngest was kept safe between the two with more experience. He had exchanged some looks with Fawn, too, although with her it was always up to guess on whether or not she understood or not.
As all three of them had filled their pockets, "The things in the glade have healing properties, we should take some home" Roam had said, Bloo was all too happy to get to turn back and leave. Turning around, they discovered a belemoid following their every step. Yet, this entity possessed an otherworldly quality—it was almost as if it was slightly transparent, its form wavering like a mirage.
Questions flooded Bloo's mind. Was this a ghost, from beyond the veil of life and death, or he maybe inhaled a few too many mushroom spores? The Hidden Glade definetely seemed to have a way of distorting reality, blurring the lines between the tangible and the imagined.
Approaching the translucent belemoid cautiously, Bloo hesitated before speaking. "Who are you?"
The spectral belemoid, extended a welcoming gesture. Its voice, a gentle melody that seemed to emanate from the very essence of the glade, replied, "Why would I tell you?" the Belemoid chuckled, dissapearing into the foliage again, leaving Bloo behind in disbelief.
Bloo looked at his companions, who seemed just as stunned as he was. "What" Roam started "Was that?" She blinke, confused. The group continue on, now even more eager to leave, Bloo in front with Fawn at the back of their little group.
Being so eager to leave, Bloo didn't notice the dark-coated Tsabhua sleeping on the floor, enjoying her afternoon for a nap. Bloo shrieked, tripping over the Tsabhua before straight up bolting for the exit of the glade- both Fawn and Roam running after him, just as frigthened at his sudden fear.
Lena, the Tsabhua who had been fast asleep just a minute ago blinked sleepily, looking at the dustclouds left behind by the three visitors. She groaned, unhappy to have her nap disturbed "Nice meeting you, feel free to visit again any time", she mumbled, rolling her eyes as she curled back up, drifting to sleep.
