There was a chill in the air as two young tsabhua wandered through the frosty Mireh grasses. It seemed like Harvest was an age away now that the cool Kerah air had settled over the region, and frost had begun to nip at the once-green life of Mireh a little earlier than usual. Koritai and Parlai had been invited by the native Ikaro to observe a festival in the nearby tribe - a tribe who supposedly enjoyed celebrating the chilly season. The two youngsters were not so sure that they were pleased to have agreed to this, but nonetheless continued to their meeting place that they had agreed upon.

Koritai glanced at Parlai - he was a fair bit older than the lavender male who seemed to be far spunkier and more excited about their lessons than Koritai was. But he could not fault Parlai, as he still had a small buzz of excitement under his fur. As they brushed past crispy bushes, a spring and black colored belemoid came into view, and Koritai lifted his tail in greeting. "Ikaro!" Parlai called out in greeting before trotting over. The older native nodded to the youngsters in greeting. "About time you showed up" she grumbled good-naturedly.

The three could faintly hear the chatter of the nearby tribe who had already settled into their celebrations of Kerah. Koritai and Parlai glanced towards the sound and nobody wasted any time as Ikaro led them through the dense trees and bushes that resided in this part of Mireh, before opening up to the tribe before them. What they could see was an area where a small tribe had chosen to reside, with dens set up and colonists milling about. There were tables of food, banners strung between trees and den-tops, and even a small group of colonists playing instruments and singing.

Koritai and Parlai gazed at the scene in front of them, a little stunned - and both only snapped out of it when Ikaro chuckled beside them. "It's not so difficult as it looks" the native assured them. Parlai shook out his damp fur, the chilled air clinging to his whelp-fuzz. Koritai glared at the other youngster as a few droplets splashed him. "It may not be what your colony chooses to celebrate, however the season of Kerah is important to refresh the lands and so many tribes choose to celebrate this" Ikaro explained to the youngsters, who nodded in understanding.

Both tsabhua turned their attention back to the festival in front of them. Gentle tunes filled the air from the musicians and singers, and Parlai paid particular attention to these. Whilst Koritai admired the banners that had been hung. Ikaro encouraged the two to mingle and ask questions. Parlai immediately moved over to the musicians, watching them play - and asking questions when they paused between sons. The lavender tsabhua listened with intent as they explained their instruments, and the cheer they felt they could bring to events.

Meanwhile Koritai asked questions about how to hang banners, how to choose designs, and even moved on to admire the carefully selected food that had been presented for the festival. As the sun began to set, the festivities began to wane and slow down, and the two youngsters met back up to exchange what they had learnt. Ikaro nodded in approval "you two will make excellent bards" she commented, which warmed the chilled pelts of the tsabhuas. The youngsters made sure to thank the tribe for allowing them to spend time during one of their cherished events, and then it was time for Ikaro to lead Koritai and Parlai back home.
