When Fier is present, it expresses itself in a singular curving trail from the eye to the tip of the tail. It can be as thick or as thin as you want within its range, darker or lighter than the base coat, and may be more intense and more saturated than the base coat but should generally still be based on the base coat—with the exception of the Monochrome+ rule.
It has minimal appearance in one of three places:
- Behind the eye
- Along the core or center line of the colonist
- The tail tip
