Similar to Artifice, Flaxen can either turn one marking that is usually darker than the base coat into lighter than base coat values. Unlike artifice, it must be in the same colour range as the marking would have been in.
Alternatively, it can turn the claws and any mane fur (mohawk, tail tuft, mane, etc) to be significantly lighter than the base coat and markings it touches. This is the only current way to have claws lighter than the fur they touch.
