Pearl
Pearl: prl prl
Pearl: cr prl – Chr prl
The recessive Pearl gene is much lighter than even the creampearl and has a much more pronounced shine to the coat. Think how crazy shiny horses in real life can get.
Iridescence
An optional addition to pearl, this adds iridescence to the body.
Iridescence occurs when the light hitting the body causes bright colours to appear. This is not a true marking, it affects the pelage (fur/feathers/scales) or integument (skin) of an animal and how it interacts with light. When seen in different lighting settings such as broad daylight, a colonist with pearl that has iridescence may look different than they might in a dark scene. Iridescence will always show up more vibrantly on feathers and scales than on fur.
