Idea for a Stat improvement research tree

Eh, not sure about this one but may as well

Research tree title: Exercise

subtitle : Strong colonists make a strong colony

This research tree will be a very small linear one with only 3 levels / nodes

level 1
Calisthenics
250rp
colonist leveling up to lv1 gets 1 extra stat point

level 2
Gym
500rp
colonist leveling up to lv2 gets 2 extra stat points

level 3
Boot Camp
1000rp
allows one more focus colonist per submission to a crucible

I think it makes sense for these to be expensive since stat improvement is very limited. Especially that last one that makes it less limited for more colonists

possible ways to weaken it if it would be game-breaking

  • Level 1
    • make the extra stat point unassignable by the player. It is assigned to a random one of the 6 stats that are not already at 15
      • If the colonists was already a buff whelp with all stats at 15, let it be dealt with the same way its level-up stats will be dealt with. IDK how the system handles that
    • Remove the stat points entirely and leave it as a necessity to unlock boot camp
  • Level 2
    • make the stat points unassignable the same way as above
    • Make it give one stat point to colonists leveling up to 2, instead of two
    • remove the stats entirely, leave it as a necessity to unlock boot camp
  • Level 3
    • reduce the number of monthly crucibles that could have 4 focus characters. 1, 2, or 3 a month makes sense. 4 or 5 is better, but feels awkward. The player chooses how they are assigned.
    • Make bootcamp itself do nothing, but unlock tier 4 with six nodes that allow for one extra focus character on one different crucible each, maybe named... [node name / stat]
      • Deadlifts / Strength
      • Gymnastics / Dexterity
      • Marathon / Constitution
      • [No clue what to name this one. Maybe like mathletics or something] / Intelligence
      • [No clue what to name this one] / Wisdom
      • Pageantry / Charisma
