Finn brushed the sweat off of her forehead. Crown peeked around the corner, having been mining a slight bit away. "Hey Finn," she called out, "look what I found." Finn hummed in reply, taking her time to inspect the last bit of mining she had done- not much again, sadly, just some copper ore- and putting everything she had gotten into the mine cart she had brought along with her.

As she turned around to look at what Crown had found, she was quite amazed at the little stone in the other's Tsabhua palms. She had never seen anything like the odd, small stone that Crown was carrying.
She frowned "What's that?" she asked the other. Crown shrugged. Not sure. I've seen some stones like them at the mines at home- but never this one. The stone shimmer in a beautiful yellow-golden colour as Finn turned it around in her paws.

"Maybe a local knows?" Finn suggested, putting the stone in it's own bag carefully. "Oh! Actually that's a great suggestion, we can go find ask someone." Finn smiled at Crown, patting the other on the bag as she rolled her cart out of the mine "you did great finding it! You should be proud of that one."

---

They weren't quite sure who to approach when they came back to the Ochre Dockyard. They knew the physician there, and some of the ship-folk who had ferries them from L'hatzif and back a few times. What they didn't know, however, was any miners, or shopkeepers.

Frowning Finn pointed to a small shop, which claimed to sell "oddities". She wasn't quite sure what that meant, but there were various bits and bobs in the window that implied that the shop sold a little bit of everything. She asked Crown for her opinion, who shrugged and agreed to give it a try.

As soon as the two walked in, an excited green Tsab called out to them "Hi there fellas, how can I help you?" Finn looked over curiously, the Tsab's desk being filled with- a random collection of objects, as well as a shiny name plate saying "Rangipo".

"Ah- hello. We mined up this rock earlier today, and we hadn't seen anything like it before." Finn smiled at the stranger. "We were hoping you could make appraise it?"

Rangipo seemed excited at this, perking up behind his desk "Ah really? Go on then, take it out, let me have a looksie." Finn smiled, hesitantly taking the rock out of it's bag, and watched as the green Tsab's eyes widened "My oh my!" he exclaimed, making grabby hands at the rock to examine it closer "You've got yourself quite an rarity here!" he exclaimed, turning the rock around in his hands. "this, my friends, is a sunstone. A rare gem found only here in Issiq. It's been a while since I last seen one of them." Crown smiled, "Would you happen to know how much it's worth?" Rangipo glances up, handing the rock back over to Finn "Well, it's worth thousands. But if you take it to another region- bound to fetch a pretty price there."

Finn smiled, thanking the tsab, and giving him a happy wave on the way out.
