Seymore made his way trough the fungal forest, careful not to trip over any mushrooms or roots as he walked. He wasn't quite sure where he was going, and had been walking around the same place for a while. Looking around, he tried to get a grip on his surroundings. Mushrooms to the left. Mushrooms to the right. Wonderful! That clarified things. He sighed, trying to remember where he had last seen those three colonists. He remembered being uphill- so he supposed that was a good place to start.

He had gone to visit his mum, and stumbled into the colony by accident on his way there. When he mentioned that to her, she had happily handed him a bag filled with smaller bags of seeds to gift to the kind Xunari who had helped her son. So now Seymore had to find his way all the way back. He wasn't mad, so to speak, but there was definitely some annoyance to be found.

As he walked up the hill, he suddenly remembered where he was. No wonder he had stumbled straight into the colony last time, it was seemingly in the middle of nowhere. He looked around for a moment, trying to spot one of the people living here and get the stupid bag off of his back as soon as possible.

He hummed a small tune, looking around, eventually seeing a small building off to the side with lights on inside. He wasn't sure if he was alright to approach at first, but eventually decided to just give the door a knock.

As he did so, the door opened- and he met the suspicious gaze of a brown Tsab. "You're not Bloo." Seymore swallowed hard "Ah- no. Sorry." The tsabhua squinted, closing the door a tad more. "I'm Seymore." he watches as a flash of recognition came over the other's face. "A moment, please." The tsab on the other side said, closing the door again.

He heard some rummaging behind the door, an some semi-hushed arguments before the door opened again, wider this time, revealing a different brown Tsabhua. "Hiya!" she said, smiling "Friend's of Bloo's, hmm?" Seymore nodded, "I suppose so, yea." she swung the door open further, revealing a small room reminding Seymore of a nursery for an older whelp.

Looking around a bit more, he saw the whelp in the room. He supposed that made sense. "Look I'm really not here to stay. You guys helped me out a while ago while I was visiting my mum- it was a nice visit, we had a lovely chat, and I mentioned you guys-" he started to take the bag off of his back, which felt like it was killing him at this point "So anyways I tell my ma about the kind colony people who helped me, and she goes all" he put up a slightly higher pitched voice "Oh! You know what colonies love! Seeds! I have some seeds!" he sighed, returning to his regular voice "and I think "oh wow, a small bag of seeds, how nice! How friendly and ma-like." he gestures at the huge bag he just dropped "and she comes back with this!"

The small black whelp had walked over by now, curiously sticking her head in the bag. "There's so many!" she reached over, grabbing one of the packets. "Carrots!" she said happily, showing it to the lighter-brown tsab.

"I see." the tsabhua said, accepting the packet from the whelp. "These'll actually be quite useful to us. My Name is Fawn, by the way. And these are Empress." the gently laid a hand on the whelp's head, "and Roam." Roam grumbled a bit. "I'm sorry for being grumpy earlier. I take keeping my family safe quite seriously- no offense."

Seymore nodded in understanding. "Anyways! Tell Bloo the seeds are all his. I'm not taking them any further." he then moved back towards the door, only to be stopped by the voice of the smallest occupant of the room. "Wait, sir!" Seymore stopped dead in his tracks, looking at the whelp with confusion. "I- uh- wanted to ask you to tell me a story?"

Seymore looked at the whelp's caretakers who shrugged. He *could* use a rest... He sighed "Fine then, but only one, okay?"

---

It wasn't much longer that the whelp had fallen asleep next to him, resting her head on him. He sighed as he realized, training off in the midst of story number three.

He looked at Roam and Fawn again, who had been chatting quietly on the other side of the room. "If the seeds really are a pain I can sell them somewhere." The two blinked in surprise. "Ah no, thank you." Roam said, "Really, they're useful." Fawn nodded "We've been meaning to get farming supplies for a while now. Seeds especially- if there's some regional seeds in there, we'd be set. It saves us a lot of effort, honestly."

Seymore nodded. He supposed that makes sense. He shifted awkwardly- but instantly heard a muffled groan from his side, and felt a small face nuzzle closer into her very comfy, albeit restless, pillow.

"You two enjoy farming then?" Fawn and Roam both made a sort of disgusted noise. "No, no, not us. We take care of the whelps here. There's this one, her sister, and then two belemoids in a cave nearby we also watch over." Seymore nodded awkwardly.

"So- Bloo then?" Fawn chuckles "No, actually. It'll probably be Koi. The little one has picked up an interest in plants lately. Has about as much knowledge as the rest of us, and at least it'll keep her occupied."

Seymore nodded "Makes sense. Plenty of seeds to waste, I suppose." he looked over at the whelp using him as a pillow, and then glances outside, to the setting sun. He sighed "I probably won't be leaving for a while." Roam nodded with sympathy. "Want me to grab a pillow?" Sighing, Seymore caved. "Fine. But I won't stay long."
