A soft salmon-colored Tsabhua was preparing to leave the main portion of the colony. Ready to find ingredients a certain homebody had asked for. However she didn't know exactly what she was looking for and while Imagine was willing to get her paws and claws dirty she certainly didn't want to come back with anything that could make someone sick. Imagine had been looking for the dark Tsabhua all over, she wasn't one to be dramatic but she was done looking for him. He was going to have to come to her, "PANDEMONIUM- WHERE ARE YOU?!" There was a crash and bang, followed by quiet arguing. Orcana then came out from the kitchen area, where Imagine had started her search. In tow of the white and black Tsabhua was the one she was looking for, and he was being pulled along by the arm. "Panda- you can not just expect her to know what you want, you could've ask Zephyr if you wanted a 'guessing game' but Imagine here is going to get what you asked. The only thing is she doesn't know what the thing you asked her for looks like." The black and white whelp was still monologuing with the argument she started in the other room. "Listen Orcana I told her I just need some Lepo Shrooms, some Scythe Shrooms, and if she can find them…. I've heard of an item called a Mycelium Tend-" The black and white whelp cut him off, "Blah, blah, BLAH. Panda, that means nothing to me, and I'm sure Imagine just wants to make sure she gets the right thing." Pandemonium stared at Orcana, and then he looked at Imagine who just stared at him blankly. Sighing before saying her piece. "Listen Pandemonium, I'm not gonna make you go galavanting through the mud, I'm not gonna make you dig up the plants you want… I just want to make sure I get the right things." It was Pandemonium's turn to sigh, he really didn't want to leave the colony grounds. He liked to stay right here, safe from the wet and filth of walking through the swamp. He thought to the Researcher who was in charge of him, wondering why the hell he was now stuck in the swamps of L'hatzif. "I will only go if Orca goes," a toothy grin appeared on Pandemonium's face and Orcana's face did the opposite, a deep frown appearing. "Panda, what did I ever do to you? I went out yesterday…"
Orcana was legendarily not the whelp to take on a venture outside of the colony as she wanted to return home to laze about. "But Panda just to prove a point to you, I'm more than happy to go and help Imagine deal with YOU and your 'ingredient demands.'" Now the expressions switched, Orcana had clearly won as an even wider than Pandemonium's smile appeared on her muzzle, while Pandemonium's smile fell into a deep frown with a bit of disbelief as his mouth opened to protest but no sound came out. The laziest whelp on the colony just offered to venture out and do work… just to force him to get out? Absolute insanity. Imagine was getting tired of these two already, as she rubbed her forehead with an upper arm before speaking. "Okay, so both of you are now coming with me?" Both dark coated whelps nodded slowly, "Great… Alright Orca you know that this is not ten steps outside the colony right? And Panda you actually know what we are looking for and what it looks like in person right?" Pandemonium's frown got even deeper if that were possible, "First off don't call me Panda, Orcana only does it to bother me… just call me 'Pan' or 'Pa' if you don't want to say the whole thing. But yes, I do know what we are looking for and how it looks in person." An eyebrow raised in a "Really?" Sort of notion as Imagine looked at him, before Orcana started to answer. The black and white whelp puffed out her chest sitting tall, "While I know that it is more than ten steps out, I wish to prove a point to P A N D A that something's are done for the betterment of the colony and are more important than not getting your paws dirty."
Imagine looked between them once more, giving them and expression which made them both go silent. "Alright well that works for me, now I've spent all morning trying to find you Pan so, now we are leaving immediately. No grabbing a snack, no getting equipment, let's go… you've wasted enough of my day. I have other responsibilities in the colony other than finding your precious ingredients." While Imagine was one of the most patient Tsabhua in the colony, she did have her limits and clearly she was done with these two already. Imagine began to trek towards the colony exit, Orcana in tow and with her she dragged Pandemonium by the arm. The three trudged into the wilderness of L'hatzif the salmon colored whelp leading the other two who trailed like shadows. The ground was soft but not as wet as the last time Orcana had come out of the colony. While the ground squished beneath her claws, there was rarely a spot that would be squishy enough to break through with her weight applied.
Pandemonium was watching every single step, carefully applying his weight before fully stepping in any one place. Imagine was trying to search for what Pandemonium needed when she noticed he wasn't even looking in the area… Imagine stopped in her tracks and turned slightly causing Pandemonium to bump into her and slip backwards while almost losing his balance. "HEY why did you stop?!" Imagine waited for him to stop staring at the ground, and as he looked up he saw a quite angry Imagine staring back. "Pan-da in case you don't remember- I don't know what I'm looking for specifically?? All I know is I'm looking for mushrooms. The entire environment IS MADE OF MUSHROOMS." Pandemonium's ears were aimed down as he was yelled at. Orcana stopped along with the other two, "Hey hey, he doesn't get out often… let's get to a grove of different mushroom types and then he can point out the ones he needs." A strong huff came from Imagine, "This is why I don't do quests, or favors." She then turned and continued to march through the warm swamp. The trio were quite loud as they trampled through the swampland, finding a few items along the way spores here and there but not the mushrooms that Pan was searching for. A glint caught Imagine's eye and so she turned towards the glint and the other two followed.
The glint seemed to flicker as the light shifted when the trio walked closer and closer. After carefully finding their footing, they arrived at the "glinting" object. It appeared to be stone, or hard earth though there was a stone similar to obsidian within a wall-like structure. Imagine and Orcana both began to gently scratch at different parts of the structure. Pandemonium who walked up slower than the other two was the first to say anything, "There are caves here?!" Imagine turned to him as if he had grown two heads, "Well it would make sense wouldn't it? What kind of environments don't have some kind of caves?" Imagine then began carefully stepping into the entrance of the cave which has glittering stones stuck within its walls. The walls blocked the gentle wind which the three hadn't acknowledged or noticed until its slight pressure was removed. The cave was darker than the mushroom forest, which was already quite dim in comparison to a clearing such as within the colony bounds. "Wow, look over there, the mushrooms glow!" As Orcana's eyes adjusted to the darkness of the cave, she noticed a soft gentle glow from some mushrooms growing just a little deeper in the cave. The walls had an odd color, deep purple with dark blues intertwined with streaks of orange in seemingly random places. Pandemonium hadn't seen something as gorgeous as this cave when his eyes finally adjusted, he was in absolute shock. It was gorgeous, he hadn't seen such a beautiful thing since having to move to this mushroom swamp. He walked now with eyes scanning the walls as the ground beneath him was dry and solid. The ground was so solid in fact, that none of the trio could scratch the surface when running their claws against the surface. Though the mushrooms were soft as to be expected, the shrooms and their hyphae were the only non-stone material other than water within the cave. Imagine broke the gentle quiet which had fallen over the trio as they explored the cave. "So… is there anything you need which you see in here Pan? Or do you see anything Orcana?" Both snapped their heads to her as they had been lost in thought, Orcana responded quickly. "There's so many little things growing in here… and it looks like there's even more to explore at some point…" The dark Tsabhua's voice trailed off once more as she glanced around the room, "I don't know what we should take. However we should definitely take a couple things even if it's not what we came looking for-" Pandemonium interrupted Orcana, causing a glare from her, "We should definitely take a little of anything we can. There's many little things here and there, just pick up what you can and we will sort it out later. For researching the environment if nothing else!" Now having confirmation, Imagine step up to the wall, and picked one of the softly glowing mushrooms. The stalk was harder than the other mushrooms she had plucked in general, and the moment the cutting was free the glow began to fade. Within thirty seconds the glow and the mystery of the item was gone as it now looked like any regular mushroom throughout the forest. A huff came from Imagine, "Guys… they don't glow once they're picked…" Orcana spoke up in a soft voice, "well that only makes sense, since it's not alive once it's been picked." A small hum of acknowledgment came from Imagine, "that makes sense, I didn't think of it that way." Pan chimed in on the topic as well, "I wish that they stay glowing too… maybe there is something different about them, having grown here in the dark… So let's make sure to keep these guys separate from anything else we pick up. That way we can try to grow some of them, a couple in the light and a couple somewhere dark to simulate the cave!" Both female whelps looked at Pandemonium as if he had grown an extra head. Pan tilted his head and then began to look all over his dark coat brushing his claws through it quickly trying to figure out what was wrong. He then became even more worried, as the two hadn't moved a muscle. "What is it?! Is it a SPIDER?!" Pan's panic increased and he began to flail around, before heading outside the caver where he could see better. As Pandemonium exited the cave, the two whelps still in the cave, turned their heads towards each other before bursting into laughter. It started with Pandemonium actually being interesting in something outside of the colony, which had surprised them both. However it was the dirty paw prints which Pan had on all of his limbs as well as under his chin now that he had searched for the imaginary spider.
Pan reentered the cave, bounding towards the other two and then doing a rough twirl. "Did I get it?!" They continued to laugh at Pan, now laughing ever harder. Tears forming in her eyes, Orcana tried her best to get a hold of herself to answer Pan. Clearing her throat, and taking a deep breath in and out to calm down she then answered Pan. "There's no spider… you were just so excited about something that it startled us- and then you wiped dirt all over your front side including your chin when you were searching for an imaginary spider." Pandemonium's panic disappeared and rather disgust replaced it. "There's no way…" His eyes turned down to his dirt covered paws, even in the dim light he could tell there was something covering his fur and the light dust now coating his front was even more evident. Eyes widening and mouth open in horror Pandemonium sprinted outside once more. The two once more broke down in laughter, doubling over when they could hear the pained howl of Pan from outside. "IT'S EVERYWHERE-" After a few minutes Imagine and Orcana had finally composed themselves, and so they finished grabbing a few items some of which Pan had dropped in his earlier spider panic. As well as the items they had gathered and a couple more they had left by the cave entrance from when they did a first pass through the cave grabbing a couple random items that had caught their eyes. After gathering everything, Imagine and Orcana stepped out of the cave entrance to see Pandemonium still trying to remove the dirt from his coat. Truthfully he was just spreading it through his coat further, there was nothing other than soft ground that he could wipe his hands on to clean them. Imagine gently knocked into him "accidentally" hitting him with her shoulder. "Are you ready to go, or do you still wanna look for your ingredients?" It was a question which needed no answer, yet Orcana responded for him. "He's gonna explode if we don't take him back to the colony where he can cleanse the dirt from his coat since it so viciously attacked him." There was a glare from Pan, "I don't see why it's such a problem I don't want to be filthy like you two-" He was cut off by a punch to his shoulder from Imagine, "Careful what you say Panda, not all of us are Zephyr." Pan rubbed his shoulder, "Point taken, anyway let's head back then."
