It was harvesting day! Lavender and Latte were picking the fruits of their labor (quite literally) and dropping them in baskets to carry later. Close to them, resting under her favorite giant chanterelle, was Midnight, observing them with morbid curiosity, she was feeling lazy and cozy with her eyes half open from the heat of the sun.
When suddenly she fully opened her eyes at some motion from the baskets, one of them was shaking gently and she saw two long ears peeking out; a jaebo had snuck into it and was most probably munching on the crops, a short time after that, two huldah scurried out behind the baskets and were trying to rob directly from the farm, Latte and Lavender were completely oblivious to this.
Midnight debated whether to communicate this or not, the answer quickly came to her: nah. She simply shifted into a better position to watch the chaos ensue. And sure enough, chaos did in fact ensue; as soon as one of the huldah was spotted by Lavender, she screamed and began jumping wildly all over the place, tripping over one of the planks keeping the soil boxed in and tumbling down onto the grass, Midnight burst into laughter at this. Latte stayed eyeing the huldah, not even acknowledging her friend's fall, she dropped into a bow and was gently shimmying her way to the rodent, a smile on her face and stars in her eyes, until the huldah quickly bolted away and Latte chased after it, yelling for it to come back and that she would be a great owner.
But this commotion was only the beginning, as a horde of jaebo emerged from a nearby tent and started racing to the farm. This was enough even for Midnight, who got up from her resting spot and trotted to the tent. Opening it up she saw a burrow on the ground, a jaebo peeked its head out but quickly went back in after seeing the tsabhua, as much as she loved the chaos, Midnight knew she had to something, she grabbed a net and headed outside.

Lavender and Latte were trying to quell the horde, with Lavender scaring them away with her claws and Latte desperately chasing after them one by one to grab them and take them away. Midnight now regrets not telling them earlier, maybe this situation could have gone a littleMention Counter
