Kel walked along a small worn out trail that seemed to follow the lazy river.

"This is such a pretty place. It's so quiet. " Kya said as she walked beside him. He couldn't agree more. This place with its fields of flowing green grass and gently rolling hills was the picture of tranquility. He much preferred this quiet place then the last one. The ocean was breathtaking but there was so much to see and do. There was almost no time to just relax.

They basked in the quiet until it was shattered by yelling from behind them.

"Why did you do that!" Kadense yelled at Alexander.

Alexander's ears were down. "Sorry Kadense, I didn't mean to scare it. "

Kadense just huffed and crossed her arms, a camera dangled from a strap around her neck.

"I told you not to move. I was just about to take a picture and you just had to go and scare it. I probably have a butt shot because of you. "

"Excuse me. Would you be quiet? I am trying to catch fish here. " Issun said.

Kel looked around for the voice. He finally spotted the Belemoid among some tall rushes that grew along the river. He caught glimpses of a pale tan color that seemed to be covered in rivets of black. Which was perfect camouflage against the long grass.

"I am sorry we didn't see you there." Kya said as she stepped closer.

"Good! I am not suppose to be seen! That would also scare away the fish. " Issun said with a smile.

Alexander and Kadense stopped their bickering and also came forward.

"Did you catch anything?" Alexander asked curiously.

Issun chuckled. "Not many. But I wasn't expecting to. It's the wrong time of day for it. I just like to come out here to relax. I don't really like to fish. But it gets me out of other jobs I would really rather not do. So I come out here, sit amongst the reeds and scare the occasional visitors.

Issun got up from where he was sitting and started gathering his things. Kya stepped forward to try and help but Issun waved her off. "I got this. I don't want to risk you accidentally getting hooked."

"You didn't have to stop on our account." Kel said as he watched Issun secure the fishing line and then swing the pole over his shoulder. He quickly grabbed a bucket that had been sitting on the soft ground where Issun had been sitting.

"Oh but I do. You see I also own the only tavern and hotel in the town and I am guessing you four are going to need rooms and food to eat. "

"Well at least let me carry your fish. " Alexander offered. Issun handed over the pail and Alexander looked inside. There were three small silver colored fish. There wasn't anything noteworthy about them. Not as colorful as the fish from the ocean. But he guessed they were probably good for eating.

They walked along the worn path chatting with Issun about life in a quite little town. Kel thought that maybe he might want to come back here for a longer visit. Kadense took out her camera on occasion and took pictures of the wild life. Issun answered their questions but Kya could sense that although Issun loved the country, he just didn't seem to be excited about it. Almost like he was tired of the same mundane tasks. She would have to find out more about that.

They crested a small grassy hill and in the distance they could see a small little village nestled in the hills next to the river they had been following all day.

"Oh It's so so small. " Kadense said as she raised her camera up to take a picture. All the buildings were red in color. The mill sat next to the river with its water wheel spinning slowly.

"It looks boring." Alexander said under his breath. Kel shot him a look that said that he had heard. He ducked his head in embarrassment. "Sorry" He muttered.

"Oh none taken. " Issun said with a smile. "It can be quite boring here. Let's get you inside and nice fish stew in your bellies. "

Issun led them to the only two storied building. A wooden sign hung above the door with a picture of a fish with a musical note.

Kya chuckled. "The singing fish, I like the name. "

Kel pointed to another sign. This one was in one of the windows. "Are you selling the place?"

Issun shrugged. "Getting tired of being bored. I want to see the world. So I thought I would sell the place. Already got an offer on it."

"You should come with us. We all love to travel. And we are never boring. " Kadense said.
