The colony's headquarters is located in the fungal forest of L'hatzif. This is also where the colony was set up, and as such, this location has grown with the colony throughout the years.
Built around a large clearing in the fungal forest, the Colony Headquarters are a series of buildings primarily built around the stems of the mushroom monoliths unique to this region. The buildings consists of rings that have been constructed around the tallest mushrooms in the area. Each "ring" is capable of containing a 2-story building, with each mushroom being capable of carrying around 6 rings. The colony currently utilizes 5 of these mushrooms for construction purposes, and each mushroom contains the building for a different sector.
The colony utilizes the clearing in the centre of the mushroom mainly for agriculture and recreation. Most notably, the clearing houses a greenhouse maintained by the colonists. Initially built as a food source, the colony pretty quickly outgrew the greenhouse, and the building is now mainly used to store various rare specimens from around the planet.
The rest of the clearing is primarily used for recreation, as mentioned above, and thus filled with places to sit and chat, as well as plenty of room for the whelps of the colony to play around. Notably, there is a small river running trough the clearing which the colonists have blocked off with grates to prevent any wildlife from sneaking in. This river is commonly used to swim in, as well as being a source of water to grow crops with.
The area just outside the clearing has fenced in areas which is used to keep various livestock- the colony keeps a small flock of Bokboks which they consider pets (besides keeping them for their eggs), and also keeps a small group of Jaebo for food and pelts.
During Geshem, the colony deploys large, semi-transparent nets across the clearing in an attempt to keep the clearing in the shade to prevent any sickness from the heat. This netting is taken down during the other seasons, mainly because of it not being needed, but also to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the materials.
The first and main of the mushroom structures is dedicated to housing. While most floors are dedicated to buildings to house Xunari of all kinds and ages, the bottom ring specifically has been specifically designed to house any whelps, or families with young whelps.
This ring is entirely enclosed, the outside walkway being lined with a net made out of metal wires, to prevent any accidents occurring and whelps falling off of the walkway. The rest of the structured mainly rely on chest-height railings being in place, which so far have done fine at preventing any injuries from occurring.
The land across from the river is primarily used as farmland, where the colony grows various crops. Despite the climate being perfect for growing mushrooms, these are usually foraged instead and the farmland is used pretty much entirely to grow fruits, vegetables, and various kinds of grain.
