Still in the Emerald Encalve, Woodland jumped up as she suddenly realized something- large on the walls. She squinted, and her stomach instantly fell as she processe what the shape was.
"Uh, Wyrd?" Woodland started, as she stood still, eyes wide. "Do you see that- shape- on the wall? Please tell me you do *not* see that shape on the wall, I do *not* want to deal with that kind of shade."
Wyrd huffed "Don't worry about it, kid. I'm sure it's fine." she turned around and her jaw dropped "That is- huge-" she looked at it for a moment, regaining her compsure "Well, the good news is that spiders usually aren't really a chase their prey around kind of predator... And that sure looks like a spider."
Woodland made a small, frightened noise as she started to back away. "I hate this place. I really, really hate this place."
Wyrd chuckled softly. "Let's just- back away for now. It should be fine, as long as we don't step on any of it's webs- I doubt that that thing has good eyesight."
Woodland's head snapped to her "Webs? I didn't see webs anywhere! Did you see webs??? We should have checked-"
she looked around her wildly, noticing little more than plants and mosses. She carefully took a step back, closely watching the spider-like creature on the wall. It didn't seem to be too interested in chasing them down- or moving at all.
"Ah- no. I'm sure we're fine, just- keep backing it up for now."
**Slowly the two backed back to the entrance, Woodland loudly sighed in relief as Wyrd slammed the door shut behind her.**
The belemoid let Woodland regain her composure for a bit, **and then pulled out her notebook again.** "That went well!" Woodland decided to keep her comments to herself for now.
"Seems like a good time for a break, though. Do you want to compare notes?" Woodland sighed loudly, pulling her own notebook out.
"I ah- mostly took notes on the plants, really, so I'm not sure if it'll be useful to you-"
Wyrd peeked over her shoulder "Oh, word! That'll be great to have, actually- I mostly took notes on the layouts, but some notes on the things inside of there are great, too! Great thinking."
"Oh, ah I wasn't really thinking but-"
Wyrd waved her paw at her "No matter, no matter. This works out great for everyone involved. If you copy over my notes, and I copy yours we should have a decent report to bring back to both of our colonies."
Woodland nodded, letting Wyrd take her notebook out of her hands. "I won't be long! You can copy my notes after."
Woodland smile "Thank you! Are we going back in after or-"
Wyrd made a thoughtful noise "Hmmm... I suppose we could, if we have the time. Let's just take it one thing at a time, though. Notes first."
Woodland eagerly nodded. She wasn't too keen on going back in there at all...
