Seveo has been through quite a bit in her young life; as a whelp she looked drastically different, which changed after contracting a strange fungal illness. Spear's physicians both believed that her already mutated genome was somehow making the illness even more complex and severe. Unable to cure it on their own, the doctors turned to their colony researcher for aid, who did help...somewhat, and not without permanent consequences for Seveo.
Today, Seveo has seemingly lost all of her pigment and has occasional mycelial growths sprouting from her skin. While none of the colonists know why her appearance changed so much after treatment, she is at least no longer sick.
