Don't ever mess with a mamma bear's cubs. Maztik is fiercely protective of her family- those in her colony. She is skilled in the ways of medicine and takes care of all in her family, physically and emotionally. Though she may get on the others' nerves sometimes with reminders of what berries are safe to eat and where dangerous areas lie, they also all know that can always count on her and that she only gripes because she cares.
