Rift comes across as a very softspoken tsabhua, but despite her seemingly passive nature--she is viciously intelligent and an excellent debater. Due to this, she is frequently asked for her perspective whenever a tough situation arises. She's known to overwork herself and often needs others to encourage her to take a break before she actually does it.

Rift primarily works as a geologist around the colony, studying minerals and rock formations while occasionally helping out on mining expeditions. Although she likes furthering her own knowledge and using DPIP lab equipment, she is not satisfied with her current field and has always had a greater fascination with space and astronomy. This interest in worlds beyond Xiunus often leads her to pester the colony researcher, Delta, for more details about anything space-related. As a whelp, Spear's researcher rarely entertained these questions, but her persistence has only grown with her and now he's just given up chasing her away.
