Woodland wandered Mireh, looking around for things to take home. Originally, she had wanted to forage for seeds back home in L'Hatzif, but she had soon realized that she and Koi already had most, if not all, mushrooms that would be useful growing safely in the greenhouse. Having gone back home to discuss with Fawn, the two agreed that what they didn't have a lot of were different kinds of berry and fruit seeds from Mireh, a few of Koi's experiments having gone wrong and wasting most of the seeds in the process. They discussed for a bit, and eventually agreed that it'd be good experience for Woodland to go out and gather some seeds over in Mireh.
Fawn, having overheard, had offered to come along to help Woodland carry seeds and other materials back home, explaining she had been wanting to go out and travel. Roam hadn't been too excited about being left alone with the whelps, but agreed with it regardless, telling Fawn that she deserved some time to herself.
The two had made their way over, happily chatting, when they suddenly heard a noise from behind, calling out "Hi there! Woodland, was it?" Woodland turned back in surprise- she didn't know many people in Mireh, after all, and the stranger had asked specifically for her.
Fawn didn't seem alarm though, instead kindly waving to the stranger. "How've you been, Siris?" Fawn asked, and instantly Woodland recognized the name of the native who had taught her about foraging ages ago. She turned around, happily waving at Siris who had been in the distance.
Fawn helped an overexcited Woodland pack up their bags, and together they abandoned the glade of bushes they had been filling up. When they had finished packing their bags, Woodland excitedly ran over to Siris, happy to see her again.
"Heya Siris!" she excitedly said, with Fawn following closely behind. "Have you met Fawn before?" she asked, wondering how Fawn knew Siris before she herself had. "Yea! We've met before I joined the colony- it's been ages though." Woodland wasn't entirely surprised- Fawn had mentioned that she used to live around this region, after all.
"It's so nice to see you Siris!" Woodland said happily "We have a lot to catch up on!"
Siris nodded kindly "Koi not with you this time?" to which both Woodland and Fawn shook their heads.
"Koi is at home. She's been working on her greenhouse a lot, so she couldn't come."
"That's a shame, tell her I say hi! Greenhouses are hard work, never could be bothered myself."
Fawn piped up "It's been great! She really took some things you've said to heart. It's become very important to our colony, and our lives are way less stressful now."
Siris nodded. "I'd love to come visit sometime." to which Woodland looked at Fawn excitedly. "You can come back with us? We just finished gathering berries for seeds-" Fawn was about to object, since they hadn't finished yet at all, but Woodland shot her a look that implied they *were* done now. "-so we were heading back anyways."
Siris seemed a bit taken aback at first, but then nodded. "Sure, I have nothing better to do anyways, honestly. Lead the way."
Woodland seemed overjoyed- and continued rambling to Siris all the way back to the colony. While Fawn was annoyed at first, not being able to add much to the conversation, she eventually eased up a little as she realized that Woodland truly had found her passion, as evident by her never ending stream of conversation about her and Koi's blooming career.
