"Do you need any help with your bags, Finn?" Seymore called out to behind him, where Finn was struggling to fasten the straps of the belts that the bags were attached with.

"Huh?" finn called out, surprised by the suddenly being mentioned. "I'm ah, good. Just need this a bit tighter-" she tugged on the straps some more- until he lost her balance and fell over, groaning.

Seymore looked over- Crown had been ready for a while now, not having been afraid to ask for help. Since there were four of them, the supplies wouldn't be too hard to carry over to the tribe that had requested them. It wasn't a serious trade at all- mostly just trading excess supplies with each other, but it still would've taken Seymore himself several trips over to cover the distance, which is why he was so grateful to have helpers today.

Scale and Finn has been the first to offer- saying they could go on a small mining trip after dropping everything off. His fourth companion for the trip, Kumos, had volunteered while he was visiting the colony she was part of. He hadn't really met the ghostly white Belemoid before, but he had been more than happy to have the help.

"Are we all ready then?" Seymore said, looking over the small group as Finn scrambled up again. He looked at Kumos "Looks like you've been waiting for those two to get ready. Sorry for the wait they're- ah, something." Kumos nodded kindly, and shrugged. Seymore decided to interpret that as an "it's okay", and smiled back at her.

Crown and Finn slowly made their way over- seemingly regretting their choices in offering to help out. Seymore rolled his eyes, he had carried way heaver bags so many times, making it hard to pity the two young miners.

"Shouldn't be too far, just a bit trough the fungal forest. Shouldn't even have to hit the swamps, honestly." He looked over at Finn and Crown "You two can hang back while me and Kumos lead the way, I suppose." the two sighed, almost as if they had already made the trip over and were about to fall over from exhaustion.

Seymore sighed, nodding the group along.

"Thank you for- y'know, coming along." Kumos hummed happily. "I've always quite enjoyed walks myself, the outside world is mesmerizing, don't you think?" he received another seemingly happy noise in return, and was about to continue the conversation when he heard a splash behind him.

"Really?" Crown complained, laying in a puddle. "Im *soaked*!" the tsabhua complained to a flustered looking Finn. Seymore sighed deeply, glancing over at Kumos who was trying to hold back her laughter "A moment, please."

He approached the two frowning "What happened here?"

"Finn fell, y'know, like she *always* seems to do, but this time she fell ON to me, and pushed me into this puddle! All the stuff in these bags are gonna be ruined!"

Seymore frowned, "I understand you're angry, but Finn didn't mean to push you. Also don't worry about the stuff, it's all packaged properly."

Crown sighed "Sure, I shouldn't have gotten so mad." she smiled shyly, "Sorry about that, Finn."

Finn tripped over her words to accept the apology, offering Crown a small washcloth to clean up with. Which was comically unsuccessful, but Seymore still thought the thought was sweet.

"Can we continue now?" Seymore said, to which they both agreed.

They walked on for a bit longer like that- even past nightfall, when Seymore had tiredly proclaimed "we should be almost there. We can probably make it there before the end of the day, an take a rest when we get there." Finn and Crown had made their excitement at being done loud and clear, but Seymore made sure to check in with Kumos too "Would you prefer we take a break now, or are you good until we get there?" Kumos shrugged, making an indifferent noise. "Alright then- keep walking it is." he urge the group forward again, already seeing the lights of the tribe they were travelling to in the distance. Seymore himself sure would be glad when everything was delivered, and probably even Moreso when he was back in the comfort of his home.
