Contemplating on whether or not the colony should change regions, Ycthuthrheth is going with colonists around on field trips throughout B'av. The first stop: Rekes.

Tezcatlipoca, Bloe, Citria, and Xochcatl were woefully unprepared and overly accustomed to the warm, humid climate of their home, L'Hatzif. Ycthuthrheth was not in the same situation as them, but only because it is a drone being piloted remotely. The four warm-blooded entities huddled together in a cave, holding on to all the warmth they can. Razor sharp winds howl past the cave entrance and whistle through the towering crystals. The flickering kindled flame extinguished by the unforgiving screeches of a deafening blizzard. Fire's radiating warm light relentlessly usurped by the cold ambient glow of crystals. Losing a source of warmth, Tezcatlipoca, Bloe, Citria, and Xochcatl huddle in closer.

Just as Xochcatl is about to ask about when Ycthuthrheth would return, it returns with a feathery, fluffy, winged draconic tark'ee at its side. It introduces them to each other, "I'm back! Irko, this is Tezcatlipoca, Bloe, Citria, and Xochcatl. Everyone, this is Irko, and she's willing to help us."

Citria, who thick wooly coat to protect her from the biting winds verbally responds in a clear, unwavering voice, "Thank you, Irko."

Tezcatlipoca tries to respond through chattering teeth, "Y-yeah, thanks."

Xochcatl and Bloe nod in agreement.

Noticing how they are in front of a freshly extinguished camp fire and Tezcatlipoca, Bloe, and Xochcatl are huddled around the hairy, wooly, presumably warm Citria, Irko makes a suggestion. "The winds are too strong here. Let's go further inside."

Following the advice, Citria gets up to follow Irko. The others cling on to Citria for warmth.

As they go deeper, the light of the cloud-blocked suns diminishes, their sight only sustained by the crystals that emerge from the ground. The screams of the wind muffled to distant shouts. The light crunching of snow beneath their feet is no longer. Irko pauses for a bit. "There's enough ventilation here if you want to light a fire."

Already feeling much warmer from the lack of wind, they uncluster and start a campfire again. Once the fire is burning and they are all sat down around it, Xochcatl asks, "So, what do we do now?"

Irko responds, "We have to wait it out. It's too strong for me now."

Bloe tilts her head. "How do you survive this? We've never seen anything like it in L'Hatzif."

"Well, the first step is to be aware of the weather. The second step is to know when to hunker down. You can't win a fight against a blizzard. Sounds nice not having to deal with them."

Xochcatl nods her head, still shivering. "Agreed. I'd rather not deal with them again."

Tezcatlipoca chimes in, "Quite the opposite problem we have back home. It gets so hot and humid that it gets dangerous if we aren't careful."

Finding herself curious, Irko ponders, "I wonder how that's like."

"Unpleasant, especially for us with thick coats," Citria responds, "But it does not physically block us into one space."

"We are also able to find ways to cool off," adds Bloe.

"Interesting. I might want to visit you all in L'Hatzif some time."

Ycthuthrheth says, "We would love to have you over some time. Thank you for helping us."

And so the five chat away as the muffled howls of wind press on. They use this as an opportunity to teach and learn what they can of the other's respective region. And once the blizzard's assault lifts up, they give amicable good byes and a possible see you next time.
