The afternoon sun glimmers on the ripples of the lively pond. The sound of young xunari playing and birds chirping fill the air. The breeze lifted the children's kites in the sky and made the giant mushrooms dance to a gentle tune. And there Tezcatlipoca sits, stuck indoors, window in his view, and bored out of his mind. The bright light of the outside sun blinding next to the glow of bioluminescent fungi inside. Yet he couldn't look away. He isn't the type to frolic outside, but Ycthuthrheth insisted he stay resting in bed while it went to bring in a physician named Hyrax.

Tezcatlipoca insisted that it wasn't that bad. Yes, the nukap running into him did hurt a lot when it happened. He may or may not have heard a crack and his right mid leg still hurt. But this is the type of pain that will just go away on its own with no problems. "We can wait until we have a physician in the colony and get it treated if it is still an issue," he insisted.

Ycthuthrheth shut that down and the others agreed once they noticed how his leg swelled. Not to a ridiculous extent, but still enough to cause concern. So they now are all watching to make sure Tezcatlipoca does not do anything strenuous that could possibly aggravate his not yet properly diagnosed injury. And here he sits, bored out of his mind.

His head jerks to the direction of the door the instant he perceives knocking. A metallic hand pushes the door open, revealing a floating spheroid drone with oddly articulate floating hands and a grey belemoid.

"Here is the patient in question," said Ycthuthrheth, gesturing its reflective hands toward Tezcatlipoca.

The belemoid nods, "I'm Hyrax, and I'll be helping you. Yc- Ycth- uh... Your researcher and fellow colonist explained what happened, but I would like to hear that story from you. And are you fine with me touching the injured area?"

Tezcatlipoca nodded, "Go ahead." If Ycthuthrheth was going through the effort to bring a volunteer physician from Mireh, he may as well not put their efforts to waste. In fact, he would find it rude at that point. He then explains, "Me and the gang were out hunting Nukap. Found them while they were resting. So we set up traps, then scared the hell out of them and tried to herd them into the traps. One attacked my leg – this one," he points to his injured leg, "And it still hurts."

Hyrax starts examining the swollen portion of Tezcatlipoca's leg.

Tezcatlipoca continues to explain, "But this is the kinda thing that goes away after a while, right? I was telling the others that they are worrying too AAAGH."

Hyrax releases the pressure he put on Tezcatlipoca's leg.

"What the hell was that for?"

"You have a hairline fracture, sir."

"What?"

"A broken bone. Not severe enough to need a surgery or cast, but you still need to take care of it. Rest well, keep it under ice to help with swelling and pain, wrap it in bandages, and keep it elevated. Here are some herbs that should help with the swelling and pain. Split them into claw-sized pieces and take these twice daily. There are also some stretches you need to do during the healing process to make sure you still have a full range of motion once it heals."

"...Well that explains the crack he heard," chimes Ycthuthrheth.

Hyrax turns to Ycthuthrheth then back to Tezcatlipoca. "You heard a crack? And still insisted that it would go away on its own?"

Tezcatlipoca faces down. "Okay. I was wrong. I will rest and take care of myself."
