First Impressions

After a lengthy argument conversation with Snip, Osix finally convinces her to let him in her ship and head to the DPIP center.  Finally, they get to get their colonists!

Well, sort of.

Turns out there's some kind of  paperwork processing delay.  They won't be getting their colonists for days at least.  But they do get to meet them!

Osix finds his colonist to be....very tall.  Much taller than he was expecting. And angry too.  Was it angry?  It looked angry.  It looked really tall and angry and it was looming over him with its claws twitching.  

When he read the name 'Indigo' in the list, he really was expecting something more...tame.  

Maybe those few days wait were for the best.

Indigo, well, he really expected his researcher to be quite a bit taller.  Tall enough to match his eye level at least.  Instead he got this quivering whelp.  It was kind of cute, actually, strange though it was.  

It's voice was artificial, rising and falling in time with its red horn.  It's ears were particularly long, and it didn't seem to have any hind legs to speak of.  Or...was it missing its middle legs?  It seems to still have its tail.

He kept quiet, not wanting to scare off the researcher just yet.  Their meeting was destiny, and he wanted it to be a good one.
